Our Care Services
Come and go as you please living
Independent Living
Our aim is to make our residents’ day-to-day lives a bit easier, which enables them to live on their own for as long as possible. Independent living is ideal for seniors who want to continue to participate in their own activities, participate in community life, and enjoy an active lifestyle without the concerns of homeownership, such as yard work or household repairs.
Daily Living assistance
Personal Care
We help aging adults with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, doing laundry, and taking medications. Our staff members, including at least one medical professional, are on call 24 hours a day.
The key difference between independent living and personal care is the level of assistance offered for daily living activities and health care.
A Team that’s Up for the Challenge
Dementia Care
The journey of memory loss is challenging, both for the person who experiences it and their loved ones. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia requires a focused team for the challenge.
We take additional precaution to ensure our residents are safe and protected from wandering off and the fear of injury. To provide mental and physical stimulation, our caring staff provides each resident with activities that are suited to their interests and skills.

What is the difference Between
assisted living and personal care in Pennsylvania?
An assisted living residence does that as well, but also provides some skilled health care services to supplement the personal care.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Long-Term Living distinguishes between assisted living residences and personal care homes in these three ways:
- Concept – Assisted living residences permit residents to age in place, meaning that even as their health care needs increase, they will not have to relocate to another senior living home to receive that care.
- Construction – Assisted living residences must provide residents a private room with a lockable door, a private bathroom and small kitchen. Personal care homes are not required to offer these amenities.
- Level of Care –Assisted living residences must ensure that residents receive skilled nursing care if their needs surpass standard assisted living services.
